Vasastan is one of Stockholm’s most vibrant neighborhoods, full of classic gems – shops and restaurants as well as newly opened, trendy spots. We love it, and below we list some of the reasons you will as well.

Hagaparken

In this park there are many different pavilions and temples, including Haga Castle. Acres of hiking and jogging trails around the beautiful Brunnsviken. The park’s total area covers 144 hectares and is part of the royal national city park. Crown princess Victoria and her family have been living in the park for a long time.

Bio Capitol

Capitol is an arthouse cinema focusing on new films from all over the world, with two screening rooms with 103 and 82 seats respectively. Capitol seeks to offer an ambitious repertoire – and programs with special themes, talks, and noteworthy guests. A cinema with everything, even a restaurant.

Tennstopet
